The Man (Poetry)

Hi, guys. This is me practicing the Shakespearean sonnet. I hope I didn’t mess it up.
I have seen the man kick his wife

in the belly, and in that single

action put a shameful end to a brewing life

like shit in a public restroom.

I have seen the man lynch his fellow –

another man who loves like a lady.

I have seen the hate in his eyes, how it runs hollow.

I have seen the man kill a baby.
A wail, a stone in the dark,

and in that, the mourning of two losses:

one, of the child, departed without a mark

The other, of hope and all its benign forces.

I have seen the devil in all its shades,

and I say man is in the worst of all his days.

  1. Undeniably believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason seemed to be on the internet the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while people think about worries that they just don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
